About the Bake Off

The Great Vitarium Bake Off is over for 2011!

To encourage the creation of delicious dishes for people living with gluten intolerance, and for those choosing to follow a gluten free lifestyle, The Great Vitarium Bake Off found some of Australia’s greatest tasting gluten free recipes.

From budding chefs to seasoned cooking veterans, all are welcome to submit their tastiest sweet or savoury gluten free recipes. The competition encourages people living a gluten free lifestyle to be more adventurous when preparing gluten free meals.

There are more than $10,000 worth of prizes up for grabs including a grand prize of home appliances and cash. With the winning recipes printed on the back of Vitarium product packs. There’s also runner’s up and weekly prizes ranging from Kitchen Aid appliances, Coles Supermarket vouchers and Vitarium product hampers.

The Bake Off Judges:

The Bake Off judging panel, lead by dietician, gluten free expert and author of five gluten free cookbooks, Dr. Sue Shepherd, will be looking for recipes that make the best use of Vitarium's gluten free products and look and taste great.

The judging panel will select a winning sweet recipe and savoury recipe and award weekly prizes as well. New creations and traditional submissions will be equally applauded so feel free to submit a recipe that reflects a gluten free twist on a family favourite or is something completely inventive.
