DR. SUE SHEPHERD
DIETITIAN, GLUTEN FREE EXPERT AND GLUTEN FREE COOKBOOK AUTHOR
Sue Shepherd is an award winning and internationally renowned dietitian in the area of celiac disease and irritable bowel syndrome. She specialises in the treatment of dietary intolerances and has celiac disease herself. Sue completed her PhD in 2008 and is now a Senior Lecturer at Monash University Department of Medicine and a senior researcher within the Department of Gastroenterology at Box Hill Hospital. She has maintained a strong commitment to educating people with special dietary needs. Sue has also been listed in the “Who’s Who In the World” publication for her contributions to society for her dietary therapy. She is the author of five gluten free cookbooks and believes that a dietary condition is an invitation to good eating. Sue also believes that having a dietary condition does not mean having to miss out of the delights and adventures of a good food life. Sue has previously worked as a resident dietitian for TV morning program ‘9am with David and Kim’ and is a regular media spokesperson commenting on dietary intolerances.
