Low Fat, Easy Cheese Sauce

INGREDIENTS

½ cup Skim Milk Powder
1 ½ tbsp Vitarium Plain Flour
½ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Dry Mustard Powder
1 cup Water
45g Parmesan or Low Fat Tasty Cheese


STEP ONE

Finely grate the cheese. Mix all the other dry ingredients together in a saucepan. Add water and mix well until there are no lumps.

STEP TWO

Start heating slowly and when warm, but before it begins to thicken, add cheese. Continue cooking, stirring continually until thick. Serve over pasta or vegetables.

STEP THREE

You can use full cream milk powder for this recipe, but it increases the fat content.
