Sesame Cheese Biscuits

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 cups Vitarium Plain Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Sweet Paprika
1 pinch Chilli Powder
1 1/2 cups finely grated Cheddar Cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
185g Butter
2 tbsp Sesame Seeds


STEP ONE

Toast the sesame seeds in a dry frypan until golden. Allow to cool. Sift together flour, salt, paprika and chilli powder.

STEP TWO

Cream together butter, cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese and sesame seeds. Add flour mixture slowly and mix thoroughly.

STEP THREE

Roll the dough into 3 or 4 "sausages" about 3 cms wide. Wrap in plastic wrap. Allow to chill in refrigerator. When firm, remove plastic wrap and slice into rounds about 5mm thick.

STEP FOUR

Place on baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 180C. Cool on wire racks.
